The article is not meant for advertising, it is for informational purposes for a NON-PROFIT institute. I am not affileated by them, and the people involved with the institute have scientific motivations. This is like deleting an article for any other institute (Universities etc...). Please take a look at the website for the institute and see that it is a collaboration of people which generates ideas and publications and not for profit.

edits like this are not OK:

Mind and Life Dialogues, forerunners of the Institute, were initiated by American entrepreneur R. Adam Engle in 1983.[1] He heard of Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama’s interest in modern science[2][3] and offered to arrange a dialogue for him with selected scientists.[4] The Dalai Lama accepted and authorised Engle to set one up.

The second refs interrupting the 2nd second sentence (I guess they are there to prove to the reader that the Dalai Lama is interested in science?) do not support the actual sentence - that Engle heard of the DL's interest in science and offered to set up discussions. The last sentence about the DL "authorizing" it is bizarre, as though the DL had some authority over Engle. This big edit is full of problems like that.
