Photo Captions edit
The captions beneath the illustrations do not seem quite clear to me. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to be looking at in some of them? GeneralJumbo (talk) 11:54, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Flightstop or Flight Stop edit
Hello. I initially changed the spelling of Flightstop to Flight Stop. Another Wikipedian reversed my change. According to Toronto Eaton Centre's website in the Our History section,[1], they claim the spelling of Flight Stop. --Mayfare 22:56, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Micheal Snow and Joyce Wieland edit
April.matisz (talk) 21:26, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Januray 11, 2009. I find it curious that there is no mention of Joyce Wieland on this page.... On Joyce Wieland's wikipedia page, it is mentioned almost immediately that Micheal Snow was her partner. It disturbs me because women are often mention in conjunction with their male counterpart, but not the reverse.
1928 versus 1929 edit
Which ref supporst 1929? 1928 is in fact correct User:Genarians. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 09:15, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- The Library of Congress lists 1929, so that date appears in many sources, but ULAN has 1928 which is the correct date. the artchivist (talk) 17:05, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
- Canadian media has been talking about his 90th birthday on Dec. 10, so 1928 seems to be the accepted year. freshacconci (✉) 21:09, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
- Also this authoritative biography lists his year of birth as 1928. freshacconci (✉) 21:11, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
