Claim that he was a Stasi agent edit

The article currently claims that Adachi became a Stasi agent in 1987. Now, that's a serious claim, and I'm concerned that we don't have enough evidence for it. The claim has a single citation, to a German-language news article published by Heise Online. I don't speak German (although the Bing translation I did on the article was surprisingly coherent). Several questions: Is Heise Online reliable? Does it have an agenda? The article opens with the claim that Adachi was a Japanese Red Army leader. This contradicts most of what I've hard about the JRA; while Adachi was certainly in Lebanon with the militant group, I've never heard of him having been a leader, which causes me to doubt the accuracy of the Heise Online article. A Google search for "Masao Adachi Stasi" reveals mostly mirrors of the Hesie article or mirrors of this Wiki article, which is based on the Heise article. So, are there any other reliable sources out there making this claim about Adachi (and preferably in English, so more people on English Wikipedia can evaluate them)? And I think it worth noting that the Stasi claim and the citation were added by an unregistered user whose entire edit history consists of two edits to this page, both of which-- the Stasi claim and the claim that he was in Lebanon to plan terror attacks (this one without a source-- could be interpreted as suggesting an animus against Adachi. And, about three months later, no one else has opined on the matter, so I'm deleting the claim from the article. Other editors are of course welcome to revert and then come on here to discuss it. Tigercompanion25 (talk) 23:55, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
