Second or Third Televised Performance? edit

Isn't the Unplugged performance the *third* televised acoustic performance; the other two were live on Jimmy Kimmel and the AOL Sessions. But the AOL Sessions are available for streaming on the site so they're kinda televised?.--R-Tiztik 16:53, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, the AOL sessions was for the internet, it never was "televised", although it was their first acoustic performance. WereWolf 21:18, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
kk I was thinking about that. Anyways I put bullets beside the song titles since they aren't in any particular order as of yet to trigger less confusion as before they were still numbered.--R-Tiztik 22:12, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Clarification about b-side songs edit

I encountered that someone constantly reverts name of the b-side song "No One's There" to "I'm The One". Let me explain why "I'm The One" is not b-side while "No One's There" is. First of all, the song "I'm The One" was not played at the performance, so it is not related to the album(Jonathan put it on his blog to download) and hence it cannot be b-side to this album. "No One's There" was performed on MTV Unplugged, but was omitted from the TV broadcast and it is not featured on the album, but it was available for streaming on MTV websites, as an audio or video file, furthermore Jonathan made post about these songs that did not made on the final tracklisting, that they will be b-sides, and I footnoted in this article these two facts. Replacing sourced and quoted material is at least not polite, and it can be treated as an act of vandalism. Thank you in advance for any relevant contributions. Fail GA edit

I have quick-failed this as there are not fair use rationales in the images. Sorry! Greeves (talk contribs) 21:42, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Failed GA nom edit

This article somehow has a five-paragraph lead, yet a one-sentence body? Please read the Wikipedia Manual of Style for how to properly organize articles. Teemu08 06:28, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Confusion in introduction - And too long? edit

"... released worldwide on March 5, 2007 and on the following day in the USA ..." - How in the... is it possible to release something worldwide and then to a specific country the following day? Should not the frase read something like "with the exception of USA, to which the album was released on the following day"?

Also - how is a two-line introduction too long? 212.10.48.116 (talk) 22:39, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Assessment comment edit

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:MTV Unplugged (Korn album)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Comment(s)Press [show] to view →
Start class:
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  Y A lead section giving an overview of the album
  •  Y A track listing
  •  Y Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  •  Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  •  Y All the start class criteria
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  •  N At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  •  Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  •  Y A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.

B class:

  •  N All the C class criteria
  •  Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  •  Y A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  Y No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  •  N No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
This needs to be spread out into more sections of prose to be properly even a C-article. The heading is far too big and I don't really count one quotation as prose. Needs more information! Andrzejbanas (talk) 14:55, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
