Photos? edit

I've been taking pictures of these all over the state. Should the list include photos? Ntsimp (talk) 21:12, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

If we can get photos of more than maybe 1/4 of these, I think it would be very interesting to have the photos in the list; any less than that, it's just a lot of blank space on the page in that column. Also note that we have commons:Category:Hillside letters now, where these images can be "curated" before they are added to the list. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 21:03, 1 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
you could have a gallery of the best 2 or 3, and then link to the commons subcategory commons:Category:Hillside letters in Utah Slowking4: 7@1|x 19:47, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Is this a hillside letter? edit

On the hillside by Oljato Trading Post in Oljato–Monument Valley there is a message written in white that says "OLJATO UTAH". The approximate coordinates are 37°02′16″N 110°19′02″W / 37.0378°N 110.3171°W / 37.0378; -110.3171 (Oljato), and I can read the first word on Google Earth. You can also see it in the background of this photo. Does this qualify to be added to the list? Ntsimp (talk) 03:10, 23 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Default sort edit

The current list is mostly sorted by letter, but not completely.

While the table is sortable, wouldn't it be good to have the default appearance already sorted by some criterion? The first column, "Monogram", seems as good as any.

So the BYU "Y" would go near the end, and the single "S" entries would all be together rather than being mixed with two-letter entries such as SV. pne (talk) 10:36, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
