PPV posters/DVD covers edit

A question on all TNA PPV pages: should we or shouldn't we display the DVD cover of each PPV (like for WWE PPVs) instead of the promotional poster? I'm just wondering about that. MITB LS 19:13, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

It is a sporting event, therefore a poster is more appropriate. --Aaru Bui DII 22:55, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aren't WWE events considered sporting events too? and their PPV articles have the DVD covers instead of the promotional poster.MITB LS 23:24, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Could you give an example? I can't seem to find articles with DVD covers where a poster is clearly available for use. --Aaru Bui DII 01:11, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, basically, the DVD covers are used for all the "minor" PPVs for WWE PPVs.

New Year's Revolution
No Way Out
Backlash
Judgment Day
One Night Stand
Vengeance
The Great American Bash
Unforgiven
No Mercy
Cyber Sunday
Armageddon

The promotional posters would be kept for "major" PPvs (Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and Survivor Series in WWE. Slammiversary and Bound for Glory in TNA).

What I'm saying is that the DVD cover would be displayed in place of the poster (example: the Against All Odds 2007 DVD cover instead of the Against All Odds 2007 promotional poster). This is just a suggestion to try to make the articles look better.MITB LS 05:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • PS: This discussion doesn't apply to this article; it would belong talk pages based on the actual TNA PPV pages, but I just thought to put the discussion here instead on all the other pages. MITB LS 05:36, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. It looks like all DVD covers on the WWE PPV pages have been reverted to posters. MITB LS 19:44, 9 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cost of weekkly PPVs edit

How much was each weekly PPV (during the time that TNA ran their PPVs weekly)? MITB LS 03:17, 26 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure, but why is that important for the article? I don't see it being useful. Wikipedia articles usually don't list prices. RobJ1981 04:59, 5 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. I found the price of the weekly pay-per-views, thanks to the (recently unblocked) TJ Spyke :) (My bad about that. I know you probably still have beef with him.) I think it's important to the article, simply to show the reader the price of the PPVs back then. MITB LS (t·c) 15:57, 5 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia isn't a price guide. As I stated in the edit summary: if it was something such as price complaints (as one example), it would be useful. But just general pricing isn't important. RobJ1981 04:29, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Turning Point 2007 edit

On the preview of TNA Wrestling's new website, they announced Turning Point 2007 will take place on December 02, 2007. I didn't list it because I'm not sure how long it will be up. TNAWrestling 22:38, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

STOP changing the location for Turning Point 2007 edit

TNAWrestling.com has the location listed as to be announced, and it was announced by TNA Mobile that Turning Point would be held outside of Orlando. And before you change the location for Against All Odds, TNAWrestling.com also has the location for this pay per view as to be announced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TNAFan80 (talkcontribs) 17:26, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

It HAS been announced. The Chronic 00:20, 15 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

2009 Pay-Per-View Dates edit

I added the dates for all TNA Wrestling pay-per-views up until Bound for Glory, which were provided by TNAWrestling.com, and I provided the link to the page on their webpage. I believe I did it the right way, sorry if I made any mistakes. TNAFan09 (talk) 22:44, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sacrifice will be in Orlando, FL edit

On TNA Wrestling’s “Universal Studios” homepage, their pay-per-view schedule lists Sacrifice as taking place in Orlando. Link: http://www.universalorlando.com/shows/tna-wrestling.html TNAFan09 (talk) 21:20, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

2010-2011 edit

Were there actually 13 shows in 2010 and 2011 or were Triplemania added on because of the fact that there were TNA wrestlers involved. Also Hardcore Justice 2010 was a weekday PPV we don't keep PPV's that are replacing Impact shows are we? 207.136.213.240 (talk) 19:46, 22 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

One Night Only's edit

Do we want to add One night only's as PPV's? Or would that be to much work to be done?
