Deletion template edit

Why? This article is a work-in-progress akin to List of Have I Got News For You episodes, which is allowed to exist... // DBD 14:27, 8 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Guest panellists edit

Could the article author add these to the list please? I don't know how to format the tables. Also, if they need describing, could their descriptions be made more Wikipedia-ish please? I copied these from a post I made on a messageboard. I have also noted who won on which episodes I have on tape.

Will delete when added.

Thanks. User:antster1983 21:32, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Series 4

Show 1 (11th September 1998) Phill's team: Bill Bailey (hairy comedian... whatever happened to him, eh?) and Chris Moyles (fat gobby-mouth Radio 1 arse-faced DJ - who happened to sulk his way through the episode) Sean's team: James Broad (Silver Sun vocalist-guitarist) and Vic Reeves (comedian and Shooting Stars legend)

Show 2 (18th September 1998) Phill's team: Glenn Gregory (Heaven 17 frontman) and Tony Wright (simpleton Terrorvision frontman) Sean's team: Bez (back again - can't he find his way home?) and Bob Mills (again, asked Bez for directions)

Show 3 (25th September 1998) Phill's team: Emmy-Kate Montrose (ex-Kenickie bassist) and Tom Robinson (bisexual punk hitmaker, 2-4-6-8 Motorway etc.) Sean's team: Neil Hannon (the Divine Comedy gets a second showing) and Keith Chegwin (two years before his Naked Jungle... uuurgh!)

Show 6 (16th October 1998) Phill's team: Mark Chadwick (Levellers frontman) and Mel Giedroyc (actress and comedienne) Sean's team: Jimmy Constable (ex-911, now on MTV's Totally Boyband) and Arthur Smith (crusty comedian and Radio 4 botherer)

Christmas special (30th December 1998) - Melanie Chisholm (ex-Spice Girl), Natalie Appleton (ex-All Saint), Huey Morgan (smokin' Fun Lovin' Criminals frontman) and Rick Wakeman (Yes keyboardist and part-time wizard)

---

Series 5

Show 8 (9th April 1999) Phill's team: Chrissie Hynde (the great Pretender) and Josie Lawrence (actress and cat-awaler on Whose Line Is It Anyway?) Sean's team: Tony Hadley (very ex-Spandau Ballet vocalist) and Bobby Davro (impressionist and comedian, both under the word "failed")

---

Series 13 episode 7 that was aired 20th of October 2003 was missing from the article. I just added it today 11th Jan 2008. It's my first wiki edit, congrats me :) I've verified that the team members are in order that they were introduced (from left to right) and they're also in the right team captain column. The name links also work. 84.155.246.121 (talk) 13:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC)DDReply

Noel Fielding edit

References edit

Most of them seem to be footnotes so I'm guessing they should be labeled as such. Shinigami27 (talk) 21:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Imagine: A Mildly Amusing Panel Show edit

Aired in 2006/7, as part of series 19 or 20 I think, but would be nice to see it mentioned somewhere in here.

Notes edit

Currently the references section is mainly being used for various notes about particular episodes (ie. why the latest was postponed). Is there any reason why there isn't a "notes" column in the table instead? --Joey Roe 20:23, 30 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bill Bailey edit

Has Bill Bailey fully, completely and finally left the show for good, or has he just left for the current (just finished) series? Reports seem to conflict a bit. Anyone know? El Pollo Diablo (Talk) 20:47, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Phil Jupitus Tweets edit

I changed the episode numbers for this series' upcoming shows as 1st of all if the Christmas special is on the 16th, there probably is only a Best of left to be scheduled. There does not seem to be any indication as to a missing episode such as last year's Russell Brand Episode.

Also, I have asked other Editors about Twitter before and they have told me it is not a valid source material for Wikipedia, even if it is by Phil Jupitus. I mean he gets the guests right and all that but do you think he is 100% certain about episode numbers. Maybe his fingers slipped when he typed that tweet.

Anyhow, I just wanted to explain myself and I decided to get other people's feedback. 174.89.243.84 (talk) 19:54, 25 November 2009 (UTC)samusek2Reply

"Recording dates are misleading" edit

Please explain how listing the episodes for the 24th series with recording dates is somehow "misleading" when they are clearly labelled as such. --Cwmxii (talk) 21:52, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

seing old episodes edit

Some shows now have websites where you can view old episodes, commercials and all. Is this show one of them? I really want to see Josh Groban guest hosting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talkcontribs) 04:20, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

"ex-Pussycat Dolls" edit

What are the rules regarding when and when not to list a guest's band/s next to their name in this article? Kimberly Wyatt (episode 24x09) is currently listed as an "(ex-Pussycat Dolls)" member. By this logic, there are numerous other artists over the show's history who should have similar qualifiers next to them.

Based on the previous entires, surely Wyatt should be credited either just as herself (much as Michelle Williams is this series) or as "Kimberly Wyatt (Pussycat Dolls)"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.64.20.140 (talk) 20:02, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
