This is here to save duplicating work, though checking is always good!

I've been adding to this list a bit randomly, mainly current players. Now going through the complete list of DRFC players alphabetically, so will add here when have done letters.
I haven't got access to stats on cup games, just using the wiki pages of the players profiles.

Have gone through all the list. Cjwilky (talk) 22:18, 22 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Have also gone through Neil Browns list checking to see if those near to 100 appearance have cup matches that would bring them up to 100, so this is complete bar pre war players and a few stats and the conference years. Cjwilky (talk) 21:08, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Players maybe add who've made less than 100 appearances edit

Sam Cowan made only 48 league appearances but lifting the FA cup as Man City captain and is one of the few ex players to go on to play for England. Briane Deane 66 apps and England. Cjwilky (talk) 22:30, 18 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yorkshire League edit

I'm wondering if anyone has info to help here. Doncaster played in the Yorkshire Football League: 1898-99 (two seasons?) Was this first team playing in two leagues, or effectively Doncaster Rovers II who aren't listed in the midland league at this point asthats where the first team are playing. I don't know the answer, but in the early days of football, teams often played in two leagues a season, and didn't necessarily use one of them for reserve players only. I notice the Yorkshire league article talks of FL second and third sides playing in the league though. Eldumpo (talk) 21:18, 27 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
