Move to "Le Mans Cup" edit
Considering Michelin is a title sponsor, I believe the better name of the article would simply be "Le Mans Cup", the same way the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's article is simply IMSA SportsCar Championship. The same thing can be said about the Nürburgring 24 Hours and Spa 24 Hours races. This due to the fact that sponsorships may not be forever, however a change of title sponsorship does not actually define the existance of the championship itself. Title sponsors should rather be aknowledged as an alternative name in the first paragraph of the article. Does anyone disagree? Ved havet ≈ (talk) 20:29, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
- I agree. The official website is only Le Mans Cup. Searching for "Le Mans Cup" returns results about this competition. Go for it.Rpo.castro (talk) 10:16, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
