Please make the following addition to the article, in the next to last paragraph in the section "History and etymology", after the last sentence that reads "Many African Americans who celebrate Kwanzaa do so in addition to observing Christmas."
In December 2022, Reverend Al Sharpton, Mayor Eric Adams, businessman Robert F. Smith, Reverend Conrad Tillard, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, and Elisha Wiesel joined to celebrate Kwanzaa and Hanukkah together at Carnegie Hall.[1][2][3][4] 2603:7000:2143:8500:2444:FA7E:10BC:53DD (talk) 06:38, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
