Gorani is not considered a Kurdish dialect by linguist experts. For example David Mackenzie and Minorsky maintain that it is distinct language separae from the Kurdish groups and it is closer to the Caspian languages.
Wêje edit
The right word for Literature is Wêje[1] not Tore. So Kurdish Literature translates to Wêjeya Kurdî. Tore means culture [2].Heja Helweda 21:24, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Editing edit
–I changed the name of [Zini Buhtan] to Zina Zidan. Zin's last name was Zidan, as was the name of her family. Butan was the name of the region. I also changed the spelling of Buhtan as that spelling makes no sense for the pronunciation of the word, especially when it is written in Kuridish-Latin script.
Where is literature? edit
I cannot see any literature here. If there is no literature, one cannot claim a language. So please be reasonable.(cantikadam 13:41, 8 November 2006 (UTC))

Orphaned article edit
In the course of trying to add links to Wikipedia's backlog of orphaned articles, I have come across this one: Hurmizgan. Maybe it needs linking to this page on Kurdish literature?? Or maybe the article just needs deleting, or merging somewhere?? I'm afraid I must leave it to someone more expert than I to decide, and to do. TheAMmollusc (talk) 12:38, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Requesting wider attention edit
I felt article Islamic_literature is in bit of neglect so I added my note on talk page there, requesting to take note of Talk:Islamic_literature#Article_review. If possible requesting copy edit support. Suggestions for suitable reference sources at Talk:Islamic_literature is also welcome.
