billboard controversy edit

"Metropolis claims the song entered the Billboard Singles Chart at No. 15[12], yet Billboard.com does not corroborate this information.[13]"

This line really comes off as original research. While I don't dispute its accuracy, the link provided doesn't state this blatantly, and Wikipedia needs us to report what someone else said about this sort of discrepancy, not report it ourselves. I think this needs to be re-worded in some way, or possibly removed entirely. But I figured it should be discussed prior to being changed. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 06:14, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I'm not really sure what to do about this. I would think that if Metropolis records is a reliable source for information about its artists, that should be sufficient. The only thing I can figure is that the chart Metropolis is talking about is different from the usual Billboard chart, but I'm not sure where else to look for that information. Okay, I found something from Side-line News: "The opener and earlier released single "Krank" was #5 in the German Alternative Single Charts for seven weeks and for 8 weeks on both the US Billboard Top 100 Singles Chart (position #15) and the US Billboard Top 25 Dance Singles Chart (position #3)." That looks pretty good to me. Torchiest talkedits 14:03, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think that works. I attempted to verify that chart placing, but apparently I have to pay hundreds of dollars to view it, so I'm willing to accept that source as more accurate. How's this:
In its second week of release, the song "Krank" reached No. 5 on the DAC German Alternative Chart.[11] It also reached No. 15 on the US Billboard Top 100 Singles Chart and No. 3 on the US Billboard Top 25 Dance Singles Chart.<ref>Side-line ref</ref>
