A note about sources edit

At the moment, all facts in this article are sourced to (though not necessarily drawn from) the subject's entry at imdb.com. Rather than footnote each sentence, one note has been inserted at the end of each paragraph. As the article expands, please try to adjust the references as appropriate. Thanks and happy editing! You forgot to mention she was on James at 16 in 1978

I just watched "Race to Witch Mountain" and Kim Richards' character is credited as "Tina" not Tia, as it is in the first Witch Mountain saga. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.149.220.108 (talk) 22:20, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Tia was corrected to Tina =   Done. Eruditess (talk) 17:23, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Passive voice parody edit

A recent Language Log post by Geoffrey K. Pullum analyzes a spoof rewriting of this article by Matt Cherett on Buzzfeed.

Heading Picture edit

Can someone give Kim a heading picture? I don't know how to & think it should be an up-to-date one. Maybe something like: 1

or 2 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.200.222.160 (talk) 16:50, 9 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Recent picture edit

Can someone please add a recent picture?Zigzig20s (talk) 21:54, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

@Zigzig20s and Eruditess: Does anyone have one ? - FlightTime (open channel) 22:30, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@FlightTime, I don't think it's just as plain and simple as having one. Wikipedia has certain rules for posting pictures of people. Mainly due to copyright. So if we can find a recent photo of kim that is fair/free use or no copyright, then we can use it. Or I think if we get permission from somebody who owns the copyright. Might be worth looking into Wiki-photo policy. I am just going off what I remember from the top of my head. Eruditess (talk) 23:08, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Eruditess: I'm a file move and ex-OTRS agent, I know the guidelines, I was just asking a question, in a simple maner. Cheers, - FlightTime (open channel) 23:44, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Appearance on Dr. Phil edit

Her appearing on Dr. Phil is not notable — it is simply someone on a current TV show doing a confessional promotional appearance. If she said anything noteworthy in that appearance, then we add that and simply cite that it came from an episode of Dr. Phil. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:42, 29 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

And incidentally, Dr. Phil is not "a major network show." It's just a syndicated program. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:46, 29 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have blocked an anonymous editor for edit warring, but for the record, I would myself consider People to be a reliable source. Whether or not the content is appropriate for the article is clearly up for debate, however. MusikAnimal talk 21:29, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
I agree that the Time Inc. publication People is a reliable source. I did not contest the reasoning of the editor who removed the content since we at least both agreed that the content was simply a standard, non-notable talk-show appearance. --Tenebrae (talk) 00:48, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
