-- * The premise of Kif being impregnated by touch is a parody of the second season Star Trek episode Friday's Child, wherein Dr. McCoy accidentally impregnates a woman by treating her wounds. --

This isn't correct. In the episode Friday's Child (TOS episode), the woman (Eleen) is already pregnant by her husband (Akaar). McCoy delivers the child, but never impregnates the woman. I'll delete this portion. Woo tangent 09:43, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
I removed this line from the cultural references edit
- When Kif goes into an early stage of labor, he calls it "The Quickening", most probably a reference to the movie Highlander II: The Quickening.
-- This is incorrect. "Quickening" is an actual event in labor, where the mother feels the fetus move. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sandtiger (talk • contribs) 17:03, 28 January 2007 (UTC).
inaccuracy edit
While Leela is proven to be the "donor" of the genetic material, Amy also touches Kif mere seconds before Leela. It seems highly unlikely that she would not be the "donor" of Kif's children, because Amy touched Kif before Leela. I wasn't exactly sure where to put this, so if it is deleted, I don't mind.Omnechist (talk) 22:51, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
