Unsourced vocal profile

Rowland has a vocal range, spanning 2 octaves and 7 notes.[citation needed] Her lowest note to date was D3 and her highest note in, full voice, was G5 and her highest note in head voice is C6.[citation needed] Her voice is in the range of a soprano, and her vocal timbre is that of a full lyric soprano.[citation needed] In her career with Destiny's Child, Kelly would often take the highest harmonic parts in the songs they performed.[citation needed] However, in the event where Beyonce was unwell, Kelly would often have to sing lead.[citation needed] --Efe (talk) 09:59, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Matthew Knowles Her Father?

The sources cited for this fact actually contradict it. In one of the links, Kelly says that it is "a lie from the pits of hell." I mean, whoah. There needs to be a better source. Aroundthewayboy (talk) 13:51, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I thought that was weird, too. According to website http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/archive/peoplearchive.php/Kelly_Rowland/biography/ both the father's and the mother's names are incorrect: "Rowland was born "Kelendria Trene Rowland" in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Doris Rowland Garrison and Christopher Lovett, who were married after Kelly was born. When she was seven, her mother took her and left her father, who was an abusive alcoholic." This sounds, at least, more reasonable. Will the author of this page reverify the original, please? Bag Of Bones

I took out the part about her being in Bag of Bones, the Tv mini-series has been shown and Kelly is not in it. The Blues singer was played by some woman from Dreamgirls and not Kelly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.126.33.106 (talk) 14:29, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

This Article Needs A New Picture

This article needs a new picture, one that looks good and represents Kelly Rowland in a good way. There are plenty of good pictures all over the internet. Find one and leave it until the next stage of her career and then change it again. (User talk:K.M.D1994) 11:19, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

New Information

I've found information on Kelly Rowland being seen in commercials as a celebrity spokesperson for the "Dark & Lovely" hair product line from Soft Sheen-Carson which is a consumer products division of L'Oreal USA, Inc. This information is VERY true. Do me a favor, --- do research on it before you delete it.

Please Don't Delete

Please don't delete the information about Kelly Rowland performing with "The Supremes". This information is VERY true. You can go on You Tube and see it for yourself.

Once Again,Don't Delete

I wanted to address, why?, my information about the reprise of "When Love Takes Over" being on Kelly's new album. This information is true. It's been confirmed in the "bio" section of her website. Read IT! 09:03, 6 January 2010 (UTC) User:K.M.D1994

{{editsemiprotected}} Kelly was NOT raised by her mother. Kelly and her brother Orlando Mekell Rowland,39 were both raised by their mom's aunt Lillian Jones (affectionate known as "Aunt Lillian") until Kelly was 8 years of age and her mom's job moved them to Texas. Her brother was left behind in Atlanta with their Grandparents James and Ella Rowland. Once joining the group Destiny's Child, her mom moved back to Atlanta and stayed with a family friend Joyce Drayton until marrying Roy Garrison. Kelly and her brother has NEVER really had a mother/child relationship with their mom due to the unstability in her life. Kelly's father, Christopher Lovett wasn't only abusive to her mom, but he was abusive to Kelly as well.

Can any of you's help me find references for proof that Kelly won and was nominated for those awards. Please, if you have any infomation on that then please add it to the Awards and nominations article. Thanks ozurbanmusic (talk)

Labels

I changed the information about how long Rowland has been with Columbia Records. She has not been with Columbia Records from 1997. As a solo artist she has been with columbia since 2002. As apart of Destiny's Child, then of course she would have been with them from 1997.But not as a solo artist.10:10, 15 October 2010 (UTC) User:K.M.D1994

She was with Columbia since 1997. It doesn't matter if she was with Columbia from 1997 to 2002 as a member of Destiny's Child. It makes no difference if she's been with Columbia a solo aritist or a member of a group, it's still 1997-09. ozurbanmusic (talk) 20:57, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

ATTENTION

I have inserted the voice " BEST CHART POSITIONS" and I hope that nobody has a good time cancelling, from the moment that it needs to enrich with truthful data: these data are all consultabilis both on the pages of the albums and the single ones, and on the voice discografia, both on the original sources. Best selling female group of all time?

in the Destiny Fulfilled section - at the end of the first paragraph where it says ;they were also recognized as the world's best-selling female group of all time'. I'm questioning as to whether or not this information is true as I swear they are the world's second best selling female group of all time after The Spice Girls ....? --86.177.117.114 (talk) 16:14, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Early life
  • This is not required for GA status but putting this section into the Music career section and renaming "Music career" to "Life and career" or "Biography" is a format used in many featured articles, such as Madonna and Thomas Beecham.
  • Rowland was born Kelendria Trene Kamasia Rowland in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Doris Rowland Garrison and Christopher Lovett, who were married after Kelly was born.[5] Does not flow well. Consider splitting it up into two sentences after Georgia.

The record features some of the group’s most widely known songs such as "Bills, Bills, Bills", Jumpin' Jumpin' ", and "Say My Name," which became their most-successful song at the time, and would remain one of their signature songs. Add some references between these sentences.
  • Survivor, whiched channeled the turmoil the band underwent, spawned its lead single of the same name,... What is Survivor? Specify that it is Destiny's Child's third album.
  • The album spawned other number-one hits—"Bootylicious" and the title track, "Survivor" Remove "other" as you already mentioned "Survivor".

There was just one minor issue needed to be addressed (specific image caption), but I feel that can be done later. I am passing Kelly Rowland as a good article. Good work and keep it up! WIKIPEDIAN PENGUIN (♫♫) 15:46, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Awards

Kelly has only won one Grammy as a solo artist. Someone keeps changing it. A remixed recording goes to the remixer only. Here is proof...http://www.grammy.com/nominees/search?artist=kelendria+rowland&title=&year=All&genre=All. Also, a featured artist is not nominated for a Grammy album award. They can only be nominated for the track they are on. Otherwise, Everlast and Rob Thomas would have won Album of the Year for Santana's Supernatural...http://www.grammy.com/nominees/search?artist=santana&title=supernatural&year=All&genre=All. Here is the proof some editor is failing to provide for their side. It needs to be changed.Xffactor (talk) 13:41, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Grammy's

That Grammy in the picture is clearly a fake since it has Happy Birthday on it. As far as her statement, she was nominated in the dance category so maybe she got the wrong info on what actually won since she wasn't even at the show that night. According to the official Grammy website, the only person to receive a Grammy for a remixed recording is the remixer. No Doubt's "Hella Good" remix won the award but there is no sign of the group actually winning one. It's not the vocals being rewarded, it's the remixing. Here is Wikipedia's description of the award and a video of David Guetta winning for a Madonna song and Madonna is not listed as a winner. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_for_Best_Remixed_Recording,_Non-Classical http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFoAOnDd_IU (Xffactor (talk) 22:51, 3 December 2011 (UTC))

Kelly Rowland took home a Grammy in 2010 for "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical" with David Geutta, check David Geutta's wiki page, also the 2010 Grammy page. Please fix this, Thank You.

Not done: She is featured on the track, she didn't win a Grammy. Source. — Bility (talk) 18:54, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Again, the remixed Grammy goes to the remixer. A few of us have now provided the Official Grammy site as a source. Look up any remixed recording winners on there. The award does not go to the artist unless they had a hand in the remix. It's like Producer of the Year goes to the producer, not the artists produced. I wish Kelly won more but she only has 4. Xffactor (talk) 14:01, 16 February 2012 (UTC)

The remixed Grammy goes to the remixer? the grammy goes to the song by Guetta feat. Rowland and it is not for himself. http://www.grammy.com/nominees?year=2009&genre=All — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.96.106.6 (talk) 14:43, 16 February 2012 (UTC)

AWARDS

I would to create a new page for all award as a Dc member and solo artist — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.53.155.195 (talk) 01:50, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

In Beyoncé's awards page there are including the Destiny's Child awards also, so i think that is correct to insert the same awards in this page because Knowles and Rowland are DC member togheter! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.53.155.195 (talk) 02:16, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

No, only her awards and nominations as a solo artist should be in the article. Grammy Awards with Destiny's Child are the only awards allowed. And the only Destiny's Child awards on Beyoncé's awards article are the Grammys. Oz talk 05:28, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Ok, for Grammy awards of Rowland but in Knowles page there was including some awards of DC. [1] [2] I edit her page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.53.144.30 (talk) 08:09, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

ARTISTRY

Why you don't insert her vocal profile, influences and public image and music style. For example she is a spinto-mezzosoprano and she is compared to Donna Summer, and her live performance with Celine Dion, Boublé,RichieWilson of Supreme.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.54.225.165 (talk) 21:33, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

The sources that were used for that section were not reliable. Oz talk 21:37, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Why do you not insert? why are the same sites all right for Beyoncé and not for her? Why in the introduction of Beyoncé there is reference to the Grammy award won by her, to the copies sold and the star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame and instead for her no? If I don't mistake that star and three grammy have won them together! Why are not the 60 millions wsold with the group , her over 4 million albums and the 18 million of singles as solo artist? Why the data of sales aren't (Here I am has sold 222272 in US and araund 100000 in UK)? Why in the singles table there isn't "Unity" at the voice Other charting song (you see billboard site, Unity in Canadian chart)

Ok Beyoncé has almost sold 100 as solo,16 grammy and it is a world wide superstar, but however Kelly is an international r&b and dance star, with around 25 million copies sold as solo artist and 4 grammies (more that with Guetta in the 2010). There do be no equity in the descriptions!

Kelly's sales with Destiny's Child in the lead section were removed because the source is a blog and therefore is not reliable. Per WP:USERG, "personal websites, open wikis, blogs, personal pages on social networking sites, Internet forum postings, or tweets—are largely not acceptable." Also, you have to add reliable sources because all information on Wikipedia must be verifiable or else they will be removed. And what you are adding the lead section is what we call Fancruft. There is no need to go into detail of all of Kelly's hit singles. That's what her discography page is for. And the lead section doesn't need to be like Beyoncé's. Her lead section is bigger than Kelly's because she's more successful. Oz talk 22:37, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Ok I know that, but a star of Holliwood Walk of fame and 3 grammy are awards that they are won togheter. Why it is insert in Beyoncé intro and no In K.R. intro? The commercial success isn't a valid reason. And the vocal profile, influence and music style? old data of sales? I repeat..no equity in the descriptions! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.53.122.3 (talk) 21:48, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Yes the star and Grammy Awards can be added to the lead. But like I said above, the vocal profile, music and influences, and sales were removed because their sources were not reliable. Oz talk 22:11, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Who add star of Holl, grammy, vocal e music style? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.96.106.6 (talk) 13:11, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Form of Page

Can you insert logo of name, the real sales (Here I am has sold more than 222,000),and on intro can you insert the star of Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grammys won, 60million albums/singles with DC and 23 million solo albums/singles/collaborationes; the article abaut vocal & music style... To get things straight concerning her voice type / artistry: there are several sides on the internet which claim that Kelly is a Spinto Soprano. However, they all lose credibility. Singers in Pop, Rock and so on simply are classified as 'Soprano', 'Mezzo-soprano', 'Contralto', 'Tenor', 'Baritone' and 'Bass'. Terms like 'Spinto', 'Dramatic', 'Lyric', ... are used in opera to determine the characteristics of a certain role. They are used for artists who sing in Bel canto and classical-oriented techniques. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.199.158.133 (talk) 23:53, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

This has been a dispute for a long time. Kelly did not win a Grammy with David Guetta. They were nominated in the dance category and lost. TOTAL SALES

I have insert her total sales as solo singer and DC member. Her sales are stimated around 82 million copies. I have insert one of many sources (http://www.thebiographychannel.co.uk/biographies/kelly-rowland.html) Lo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.53.156.31 (talk) 21:58, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Actually, that source was wrong and is not reliable. The combined sales of Kelly Rowland and Destiny's Child isn't more than 50 million. See Talk:List of best-selling music artists (page 2)#Kelly Rowland. Oz talk 00:02, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Sorry but DC album has sold abaut 40 million and singles 20 millions. As solo she has sold 4 million e 18 millions and collaborations. matematic isn't an opinion... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.16.97.72 (talk) 08:03, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Incip

I have inserted in the incip (before the reference to the cinema and television career) two sentences with the most meaningful numbers of her record career, as I have also found on the pages of many other less famous artists.

Obviously I have insert the sources from Billboard, Official Company and Aria, therefore they are all incontestable data.

I hope that nobody removes this, it is everything documented. Thanks. Hi — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.74.124.175 (talk) 22:31, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

This is not her discography page. Keep the lead section simple. Oz talk 01:10, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Please stop. That sort of information does not belong here (especially not in the lead section). Its better off at the Kelly Rowland discography page. Oz talk 12:58, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Artistry

Now I insert an artistry section, with many and many sources, and I want see if this article, with so so many sources, if someone will cancel the article in arbitrary way and deciding for all the consumers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.54.201.194 (talk) 14:19, 29 April 2012 (UTC)

"Restyling Page"

I have contributed adapting the incip with the parameter used for the other artists (intro / music career / other career / sells, awards, magazine tribute) and some photos, to have a more complete page. I believe to have done a good job, I wish me that you appreciate. Hi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.54.209.167 (talk) 09:39, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Voice, Influences and Notable Performances

Kelly Rowland has a vocal profile of a mezzo-soprano with a range of three octaves, and a prominent use of a natural vibrato and other vocal ornamentation.[114][115][116][117][118] Rowland has cited Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson as her biggest musical influences.[119][120] Following the news of Houston's death, Rowland commented, "I am beyond heartbroken. Whitney Houston was undoubtedly one of the greatest singers & performers of all time & such a huge influence on me. She embraced me when I first started out with Destiny's Child, with love, with encouragement and with that powerhouse voice".[119] Rowland has also drawn inspiration from Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Sade, Martin Luther King Jr., Donna Summer, Diana Ross, and Oprah Winfrey.[121][122][123] When speaking of Winfrey, she stated, "Nobody's perfect, but she comes so close! She's like the female version of God. She inspires me to work hard and give back".[122] Rowland also stated that living Miami has influenced her style, growth, and music.[122] From a fashion perspective, Rowland has viewed her grandmother, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, and Oprah as her style icons.[121] Her sensual live performances have been compared to those of Aaliyah.[124] Her artistry is respected by other famous artists evidenced during her career a she has duetted live with famous peers as Celine Dion with Destiny's Child,[125] Supreme substituting the elusive Diana Ross,[126] Lionel Richie[127][128] and Michael Bublé.[129] She has tributed live Patti LaBelle,[130] Mariah Carey[131] and Whitney Houston, in a performance with Stevie Wonder.[132]

I am baffled that wikipedia has that I have not provided several sources to support the descriptor, she clearly has a three octave voice as evidenced by the several sources, two videos are contained in the evidence her vocal ability. There was similar method used on other artists' articles such as the article on pop Rihanna and yet for Rihanna it has not been reverted but accepted. Rowland has more vocal range than Rihanna but that is another issue. It must the biased the media inadequately view Rowland still being backing singer in Destiny's Child despite that the group disbanded years ago and is having her career. Several critics have corrected stated she is no longer a backing singer (see notable reviews on dilemma and when love takes over). She is often described as having soulful vocal or classic vocals as in the sources. Her lives performances with some famous articles and tributes of others evidence as her acclaim, these performances are significant and should be included somewhere in the article because she has performed with some legends and not many articles achieve this.

None of the sources you provided verified that she has a vocal profile of a mezzo-soprano with a range of three octaves, and fan made videos are not a reliable source. Kelly's performances with other artists can be merged into the 'Biography' section because they do not belong in the Artistry section. See the Artistry sections in the Beyoncé Knowles, Madonna, and Britney Spears articles as examples. Oz talk 13:21, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

I have seen these above artists you mentioned and there are in detailed and well sourced, but i do not see the difference, the sources come from albums reviews and concert reviews. You not explained how fan made videos were used for her pop peer Rihanna and her former colleague Michelle Williams (singer).

I wouldn't use the Rihanna and Michelle Williams articles as perfect examples. The YouTube sources in those articles have been removed. Have you noticed that the 'Performances' sections in the Beyoncé Knowles, Madonna, and Britney Spears articles only have reviews of their live performances and not information about who they have performed with. Anyways next time provide reliable sources that actually state Kelly's voice is "mezzo-soprano with a range of three octaves" or else it will be removed again. Oz talk 22:59, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

total solo sales

Hi! Why you don't insert 4 million albums but four million albums? And why not 22 million records? (4m albums+18m singles). Thanks--Music&Co (talk) 19:42, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

18 million singles before Motivation singles (platinum for 1million copies sold). To date 19 million singles--Music&Co (talk) 19:45, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Per WP:NUMERAL, "numbers from zero to nine are spelled out in words". And you can't just assume she's sold 22 million records and 19 million singles without verifying it by reliable sources. Wikipedia articles must not contain original research. Oz talk 22:10, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I say 22 or 23 million solo totals records (album+singles). We have a reliable sources for 4m albums and 18 m singles= total 22m records. I say this..--Music&Co (talk) 08:11, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

No that is still original research because the sources don't mention 22/23 million records. You need to provide a source that supports what you said. Oz talk 11:55, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Ok, I understand, but i think that "4 million albums and 18/19 million singles" is the same thing of "22/23 million records". Thanks! --Music&Co (talk) 07:52, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Lead

User:Music&Co has been treating this article like a personal blog/fansite, especially the lead section (rewriting it to make Kelly Rowland look extremely successful and inflating her and Destiny's Child's sales with unreliable sources). The user has also removed the fact that her second solo album was unsuccessful. The lead section needs to be neutral like before (see difference). I would've rewritten it myself but Music&Co would've just reverted my edits and I don't want to get blocked for WP:EDITWARRING. — Oz 07:08, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

For me...this is a good article, and this edit is better of its predecessor. So it's neutral. last edit was incomplete. --89.96.106.6 (talk) 13:36, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

"Here We Go" and "Breathe Gentle" were hardly international hits. Both were isolated hits in the US and Italy and did not cross over. "What a Feeling" and "Invincible" were minor hits internationally. I don't think these songs should be mentioned in the lead at all! I agree with OZ that this should be deleted. --Music&Co (talk) 20:41, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

OK good to see another user has added back the information about her second album being unsuccessful and Music&Co hasn't reverted it. Now the remaining problem is the amount of singles mentioned in the lead. Music&Co has added all of her top ten/twenty US/UK singles which is not needed here (this is not her discography article). I think "Can't Nobody", "Here We Go", "Breathe Gentle" and "Invincible" need to go because they were not major worldwide hits. — Oz 01:48, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Agree, this addition is way too much for a lead in a BLP article. "Here We Go" was pretty decent in the US, which is her native market, and "What a Feeling" looks to be the most successful of the ones listed above. Dan56 (talk) 02:30, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Dear User:Oz, I haven't modified the edit of the other user because it is objective that the second album has sold less than its predeccessor. But to write it or to bring the two datas of sales (2,5 million Simply Deep and 1,2 million ms. Kelly) is already more descriptive than the decrease of sales, and it brings a numerical data that doesn't include personal judgment. ...and this that you have never understood. However on the actual version they agree. For collaboration "Here We Go" was a top20 in US (gold sales),Uk,Finland and NZ; "Breathe gentle" was top10 in Italy, Netherland and top30 Europe; "Invincible" top-5 in NZ (gold sales), top-20 in UK(eligible silver for sales), Ireland, Australia Urban, top-30 in Europe and "What a Feeling" top-10 in 6 charts, and top-30 in others 5 countrie. I don't speak of "Worldwide hit", but abaut iternational hits in collaborations. --Music&Co (talk) 13:04, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Three users agree with me. A consensus has been reached. — Oz 04:31, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

I don't share because I believe that in the lead there are goes inserted UK/US/AUS top-20, best collaborations and songs that has gotten in some charts a particular success. With a lot of other artists this is done! In every case, I am satisfied because of my change something has been maintained, as for instance her #1 position in the UK chart and the vedites of Simply Deep, Here I Am #1 position R&B in US, Commander as international hit and not only in England as someone with ignorance had brought, and What a Feeling!

But I RESPECT the majority of the consents, and I share the fact that the majority is expression of wish and common (even if this must not give right to anybody to feel judge above the others) thought.

I wish only me that this page is not treated as that of an B series artist, since she has sold over 50 million records with the group and around 25 as solo artist, besides the career in tv, cinema and telefim. Then no to fansite (and I repeat that I don't consider me fan but only more descriptive and detailed) and equally NO HATERS or who tries to darken the image of the artist for other neighbors colleagues.

Bye, thanks to the comparison we grow! Hi Music&Co (talk) 19:52, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Legacy

I believed was opportune to insert a section like this, with her small legacy (about destiny's child career, dilemma, when love takes over, commander, motivation and television roles) but obviously she isn't a legend. however if don't even have a legacy Nelly Furtado or Fergie which have had a different careers but on the same middle-tall levels like Kelly..then I find correct that she doesn't have legacy section.Music&Co (talk) 20:43, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

I don't think Kelly should have a legacy section. She has not had a huge impact on music as a solo artist like Beyoncé or Britney Spears. The legacy section is not about commercial success only. — Oz 01:46, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

She introduced David Guetta to the american music scene, so to me she did have an impact. Guetta admitted that she was the first one who actually believed in him. Her UK X Factor contestants (Amelia Lily and Misha B) both started off successfully with top 10 UK singles. I agree however that this is not enough for a legacy section to be inserted. Szaboci (talk) 09:52, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

I think her Dilemma, Work, When Love Takes Over, Commander and Motivation have had an impact not commercial but also in the pop culture also. Then Beyoncé, Misha B, Amelia Lily, David Guetta, LeToya Luckett, 50 cent, Trey Songz, Tiziano Ferro and Ludacris are expressed on her praising for her successes and for the impact that her works and collaborations have had in their artistic runs. But however I repeat to agree on the fact that is not yet enough. Even we see if with this new fourth album she will continue the successes of the precedents single that have reserved her a place both in the r&b and in the dance music, and if she will continue to strengthen her image of an "independent woman", even in that case a legacy section can be inserted. Without doubt she represents really the true "Survivor" :) ! Music&Co (talk) 22:21, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

Many artists have hit singles and receive praise from other artists for their success (including newcomers Justin Bieber, One Direction and Katy Perry) but that does not mean they deserve a legacy section. Kelly's still got a long way to go. Good to see we agree on something for once lol. — Oz 00:47, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

New changes to introduction

Hi...! sorry if the changes I made to the introduction upset some fans... Every time I visit this page I don't like the way the introduction is written and I thought it needed a change.

Kelly has a career in TV and film so I thought it would be nice to blend it in with the info about her music career. I notice Beyoncé Knowles and Brandy Norwood pages did the same. I removed Clash of the choirs and Everybody dance now because they both not successful shows. It would be great to just leave Kelly's most notable/successful TV roles such as X Factor!

I also remove What A Feeling and One Life because they are minor hits in Europe and I read above that only major hits are only included in the introduction. I also removed Kisses Down Low and Dirty Laundry because they were not hits.

It's also better to put her stats/achievements in the last paragraph of the introduction and I notice that many other pages for singers do it too.

I hope other users can accept my changes :) Thanks! KRDilemma (talk) 04:33, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Though I do not edit this page regularly I think your new intro is much better. Szaboci (talk) 08:59, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Agreed. The new changes are better. It's about time someone got rid of Everybody Dance Now. It was such a flop show (cancelled after 4 episodes) it doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the lead. 0z (talk) 21:04, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Thank you both. Sorry for the late reply I been on holidays. KRDilemma (talk) 23:13, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

awards and nominations beyonce/kelly rowland/michelle williams/destiny's child

A question: why in the page of the awards received by beyonce there are also destiny's child awards and nominations? Don't seem me correct! Or they also put it in the awards and nominations's page of kelly and michelle (michelle beginning from the 2001) or delete destiny's child awards also from the page of beyoncé awards! Only Grammy and ASCAP Awards are ab personam" even if defeated to group. All the other prizes are titled to Destiny's Child and not to Rowland, Williams and Knowles.

It is to clarify well and to balance the situation, the feeling is that beyoncė's fan wiki-writers wanted to inflate the number of awards and nomination of beyoncé.

In more in the section Grammy history of Beyonce comes one brought a nomination as featured artist for the album of Lady Gaga of The Fame Monster: motivation is that beginning from the 50th Grammy ceremony all nominations in all album categories must be attributed to every featured artist also? Is it true? Seem me very strange...

But if it were so then Kelly she has received a nomination as feat. artist for the album David Guetta's One Love 52th Grammy cermony and this year for the album Side Effects of Fantasia. We make things clear and we adjust in honest way the situation.

sorry my English.. I am learning the language... but the concept of injustice and incoherence is the same in all languages of the world.109.52.105.43 (talk) 15:37, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
