File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Kismaros.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kismaros.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 13:04, 5 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:04, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Cellarskismaros.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Cellarskismaros.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:32, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

WP:BADCHARTS again edit

ukchartsplus.co.uk is on WP:BADCHARTS. The year-end charts there seem to be completely imaginary. Please don't add them to articles.—Kww(talk) 00:04, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

sorry I just reused it from other articles that are using it too for instance the "when love takes over" article too. As that was listed as one of wiki's good article I never thought it has a bad chart referenced. maybe it isn't that good then after all. Szaboci (talk) 00:12, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't trust the "GA" designation for much. Basically it means that someone gave the article a quick look and it wasn't completely horrible. A close review of most GAs will still find problems.—Kww(talk) 00:16, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Eastern Europe sanctions notice edit

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding Eastern Europe, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Warning edit

Your recent editing history at Eastern Europe shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.123.47.150 (talk) 08:24, 29 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Reliable source? edit

For some reason you reverted my edit on Ciara discography, claiming it is not reliable source. Those numbers are Soundscan numbers, who are you saying it is not reliable? Perhaps you are mistaking it with Hits Daily Double building chart, which are not Soundscan numbers, but an extrapolation of partial sales figures done by HDD itself. A simple check on the first week sales figures would tell you that those are Soundscan numbers. Hzh (talk) 21:21, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
