OVA Attribution

During the time period in which the now Kadokawa Pictures was owned by Tokuma Shoten, multiple OVA were created and attributed to a Daiei Co., Ltd. such as Lesson XX and La Blue Girl. Some research has led me to believe that this was the work of Kadokawa Pictures at the time. If others agree with this inference, then I would like to link the articles' studios to this page and add to this article concerning these.

Splitting article

As it stands, links for Daiei all end up on this page, even though Daiei had a long and rich history that was completely separate from Kadokawa for decades. To put the history of Daiei under that of the company that eventually bought it up is like trying to put all the companies that made up General Motors on one page. The Japanese Wikipedia puts Daiei on a separate page, and so should the English Wikipedia.--Michitaro (talk) 09:54, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Article has confused two different topics

This article seems to have confused two topics: (1) the history of Kadokawa's various motion picture divisions, which executive produce and distribute movies, and (2) the Kadokawa Daiei Studio, which is the name of a physical movie studio complex and the production company which runs it.

The Japanese article this English one is is linked to is only about the the Kadokawa Daiei Studio. But the English one is in all but name about Kadokawa's motion picture ventures. The Japanese article about Kadokawa-branded motion picture companies in general is https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%A7%92%E5%B7%9D%E6%98%A0%E7%94%BB and there is another specifically about the now defunct "KADOKAWA PICTURES" company at https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%A7%92%E5%B7%9D%E6%98%A0%E7%94%BB_(%E4%BC%81%E6%A5%AD)

Considering that there almost nothing about the Kadokawa Daiei Studio in this English article, I think it should be moved to a more appropriate name and linked to https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%A7%92%E5%B7%9D%E6%98%A0%E7%94%BB

A different article that actually is about the Kadokawa Daiei Studio could then be created and linked to https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%A7%92%E5%B7%9D%E5%A4%A7%E6%98%A0%E3%82%B9%E3%82%BF%E3%82%B8%E3%82%AA --Tempjrds (talk) 12:13, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
