uh, John Saunders is Canadian, or at least he said during a Stanley Cup telecast that he was raised in Montreal.

Can someone PLEASE clean up the "Controversies" section? The part about Tyrone Willingham can remain as notable, but the viewpoint presented here comes across as an embittered, partisan complaint -- not as objective analysis. I see that someone did a clean-up, but this was reverted to the mess that currently remains. Information about death in lead edit

Per MOS:BLPLEAD, information about a person's death isn't typically discussed in the intro paragraph. The information about his death is included in the body and does not need to be listed in the intro since it isn't relevant to why the subject is notable. — X96lee15 (talk) 19:16, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

You are wrong. It is very often discussed in the intro paragraph. In your own reference it states "Dates of birth and death".

I believe you're incorrect. The MOS link that I referenced says, "date of birth and death", which the intro has, but it doesn't say, "cause" of death unless it is relevant to the notability of the person, which in the case of Saunders, it is not notable.
