There is no corroboration at present for the date of death. It was removed in accord with WP:BLP but the IP poster has replaced it, with a little more detail regarding illness. Note requesting corroboration left on editor's talk page. --Old Moonraker 16:26, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

I was a professional colleague of Normington, at the Royal Shakespeare Company, for 4 years and i was in intermittent contact with him throughout my subsequent career in other theatre productions. I don't see the necessity for the edits referred to here (above). Anybody can check the obituary pages of the major London newspapers and confirm the details without intrusive, and unsolicited changes. By the way everybody in the (Theatre) business knew him by his official nickname 'Nora', and even the broadsheet press in the UK also used this.
