I would appreciate it if anyone who has access to the latest version of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (linked from the references) could fact-check and add anything additional. I don't have online access to it.
Likewise, if anyone has access to the work by Emden, snippet view on Google Books suggests it may have additional biographical detail not found in the DNB.
