Has this article not conflate the subject with his father. ODNB gives his date of birth as c.1636. Surely the MP for Evesham must have been his father, who was presumably earlier also MP for Droitwich. Peterkingiron (talk) 23:19, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have accordingly deleted: "was returned to the Long Parliament in 1640 as member for Evesham. During the Civil War he served for the King" Peterkingiron (talk) 17:32, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
