She's an award-winning composer, how is that not notable? Nathan McKnight -- Aelffin (talk) 00:30, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

This does not fall under CSD A7 as claimed in the edit log by the deletionist as it contains a "credible claim of significance or importance". Nathan McKnight -- Aelffin (talk) 00:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
The importance of the award is geartly debatable, since it does not have a Wikipedia article of its own. Even if speedy is declines, it will certainly fail a formal AfD discussion unless additional evidence of notability is provided. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 00:39, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Having a Wikipedia article is not a criterion for notability. Please read the notability guidelines. Nathan McKnight -- Aelffin (talk) 00:40, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Although it is irrelevant to the CSD A7 claim, the award's proprietors do in fact have a Wikipedia article, and I have linked it. Nathan McKnight -- Aelffin (talk) 00:52, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
