Vanity/autobiographical article edit

The page content was removed by an editor named Jeffmanninglv - I've reverted the edit (again) as it seems to be a vanity/autobiography article, and put a warning on the editors talk page. CultureDrone (talk) 09:46, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reverted description edit

When User:CultureDrone extensively re-worked this article, he or she used the expression "English-speech vocal actor". Today I changed this to the more standard description "English-language voice actor" [1]. My edit was reverted by User:Morning277 using Huggle, with no explanation.

Using Google as a rough guide, I've determined that "English-language" "voice actor" gets over 22,000 hits, while "English-language" "vocal artist" gets 46. This is a clear indication that this odd expression, which is not used on any other article on Wikipedia [2], is not as fitting as "English-language voice actor", so I've reverted Morning277's revert.

I suggest that if Morning277 thinks the original expression is better, he or she present their arguments here, and not revert again until there is some consensus for the change from a standard description to a non-standard one. Beyond My Ken (talk) 07:11, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • I looked at the edit and honestly do not recall making the edit. All of my reverts are for vandalism, not for changes such as these. Looking at the revision that was made, there was NO vandalism and therefore believe it must have been made in error. Again, don't know why or how. I extend an apology. OK, thanks -- accidents happen, no problem. Beyond My Ken (talk) 15:02, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
