Singles and album count confusion?

The numbers said at the top of the page don't match what is listed in the charts below. For example, the intro paragraph says Monaé has five music videos, but the chart shows at least eight where the songs were her own songs. Girls,” which was executive produced by AOL's inspirational women's website MAKERS.com, will benefit the White House's Let Girls Learn campaign and the estimated 62 million girls globally without access to education. Consensus on how many proper albums Monáe has in her discography ...

Should the self-released The Audition count as an official album in Janelle Monáe's discography? I've done a little searching around and have yet to find a reliable source that acknowledges it as such. Furthermore, in this article Monáe herself calls The ArchAndroid (which was commercially released 7 years later) her first album. Demo or EP - This book's passage on Monáe calls it a "demo", while these two call it an EP; I prefer "demo (music)" ("...a song or group of songs recorded for limited circulation or reference use rather than for general public release...") Dan56 (talk) 04:07, 25 February 2018 (UTC)

Okay ... gonna change The Audition from "Studio album" to "Demo" - thus, The ArchAndroid will be labeled on here as Janelle's first studio album, The Electric Lady her second, and the forthcoming Dirty Computer as her third studio album. I don't have any objection to what its classification is, but I don't think one person agreeing with you is a consensus. I think somebody uninvolved should determine a consensus when more editors comment. Ss112 17:01, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
