• Support Per WP:PRECISION, the current title is a WP:PDAB although it looks like the model is referred to as an artist less often, he get much more views [[1]]. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:03, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
• Strong oppose James Charles (model) is not an "artist", not one source describes him as "the artist James Charles". He's James Charles (make-up artist), that isn't the same thing as artist, otherwise we'd have a category "paint artists", but we don't because "paint" isn't needed. • Oppose. At the expense of seeming a bit sniffy with regards to makeup artistry, I'm not convinced that there are sufficient grounds for confusion here. For one thing the younger man appears to be known more as a vlogger and model. Would a hatnote not do? PC78 (talk) 22:50, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

James Charles (artist) → James Charles (painter) – This title avoids ambiguity with James Charles (model) and has received some support in the previous RM discussion. feminist (talk) 09:35, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

• Oppose again there is only one artist James Charles. This isn't ambiguous. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:22, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
• Support. No reason to prefer "artist" over "painter" other than slight preference for less WP:PRECISE disambiguation when not necessary, easily overridden by any amount of ambiguity. "British artist" is quite a mouthful but "artist" and "painter" are essentially the same length. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 06:07, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
• Support. If someone is a painter we usually disambiguate them as a painter. "Artist" is usually only used for those who are known for several different art forms. It's about precision, not ambiguity. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:26, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
