I've briefly looked through the article and found many issues, so it's C class. I recommend the previous GA review's comments be answered fully so that it may not be a case of a quick fail. See above: Talk:International Fleet Review 2016/GA2; the comments regarding missing content, WP:MOS violations such as caps, too many images and it needing a copyedit are still left to be addressed. B-class

Before I make any changes to the designation to B2, I am wondering if the two people who did GA reviews for this article would like to weigh-in with their opinions, AustralianRupert Nick-D. I figure that Krishna Chaitanya Velaga would like to that this to GA soon after dealing with B-class, perhaps there's advice or a comment that you might be able to give regarding the changes made since their previous GA nominations.

AR specifically noted themselves that they believe the article doesn't cover the criteria for coverage, this applies to both B2 and GA3, so I figure it worth having your opinion on it.

A personal comment while I'm here; you've made an attempt at introducing background information and improving the article. I don't know what the exact state of the article at GA was, but, I noted in the GA reviews that the article read too much like a press release, that may still be the case in my opinion, though the format has definitely improved. In terms of coverage, perhaps take a look at these two sources as well, the first is in English;[1] while this one is in Hindi? I think, but you may be able to read; [2]. I'm not sure how much those sources will help, but, they're what I managed to find after a google books search. For now, I'd like to wait before putting this up to B-class. 22:26, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

G'day, I've looked at the article again. It is most certainly greatly improved but I remain uncertain about its coverage. For instance there is an image caption that mentions a motorcycle expedition, but the body of the text doesn't mention it. I suspect also that the Announcement section could be expanded to discuss the purpose of the review and the reception of the announcement, e.g. did the media support the idea, or was there criticism of it, etc. I think you could also mention the operational demonstration that appears in one of the captions in the Gallery. That appears to be the International Naval Review, a different name altogether, and one that can be used to create a sufficiently distinct article of its own. I note that no such article currently exists. Mr rnddude (talk) 03:16, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
