From other sources, I think the 1876 Red Stockings folded after the 1879 season. It was a new team, the Cincinnati Stars, that played in 1880 and were kicked from the league that October for refusing to sell beer at games and rent out their stadium on Sundays. 2601:2C4:C980:A290:4033:D04C:C1C5:D9E8 (talk) 00:13, 7 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
