Talk:Hisako, Princess Takamado

move|Hisako, Princess Takamado

I have understood that "Takamado no miya Hisako shinnō-hi"'s translation would be: Hisako, princess-consort of princedom Takamado. (As far as anything can be translated fully.) Am I correct in trusting that the abovesaid Japanese wording is in use of her in Japan? (or, why is it mentioned in the text??)
Based on this, my proposition for her article heading is Hisako, Princess Takamado 217.140.193.123 9 July 2005 10:50 (UTC)

  • oppose unnecessary and does not follow any known format. Antares911 14:13, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Agree oppose. In Japan, the public refer to her as "Takamodo no miya", though here in England, she likes us to call her "Hisa".

Spanish language knowledge edit

Does anyone knows if she's fluent in Spanish because at the inauguration of the Instituto Cervantes of Tokyo she spoke to the audience and to the Kings of Spain in Spanish language with a very advanced accent almost closed to native speaker, the average Spanish-speaker Japanese doesn't have that accent.174.61.3.90 (talk) 20:37, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Hisako, Princess Takamado edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Hisako, Princess Takamado's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
