Conflicting dates

The article says he was born in 1935, but he's in the 1940 births category. Which is it?--Cúchullain ^t/c 15:20, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

it says he was born 1935

Dead or alive?

The article contradicts itself multiple times on whether he is dead or alive. Most (but not all) of it describes him in the present tense. The first sentence states he died on 19 August, but he is in the living people category. He is not listed under 19 in the article deaths in August 2008. The blp notice is still present on this talk page. Please clarify the truth of the matter. Werdnawerdna (talk) 10:34, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
