Change article's name edit

I intend to change the article's name from Hill's model to Hill's muscle model in order to prevent confusion with other models made by other authors with the same surname. I'll change this in about one week if nobody have a problem with this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rudolf.hellmuth (talkcontribs) 20:41, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Viscoelasticity edit

The velocity dependence of the contractile component is the source of viscoelasticity in this model. A separate viscous term may be added, especially to represent visocelastic behavior of the external tendon, but this effect is generally quite small. It seems that mention of a separate exponential viscosity here may be confusing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.207.55.74 (talk) 13:57, 8 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Removal of "famous" qualifier edit

I suggest that the qualifier "famous" in "... the famous physiologist Archibald Vivian Hill" in the beginning of the article be removed. Even if it could be argued that Hill is objectively famous --- which in my opinion, it is not the case --- there are people more famous than he is, even among scientists, and they are not referred to as such. This creates a dissonance with the tone of other technical articles in Wikipedia. Not a big deal, of course, and if someone has even a minimally reasonable objection to the change, I'll just drop it. anonymous (talk) 16:54, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
