Inaccuracy: Johannesburg is not the only city not on a body of water. edit

This article says about pollution in this body of water:

"This is caused by the growing level of dysfunction in the many sewage works that drain the city of Johannesburg, the only city in the world not on a lake, river or waterfront, straddling a continental watershed instead."
