Fair use rationale for Image:GodzillavMegalon Ja.jpg edit

Image:GodzillavMegalon Ja.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I've noticed something edit

It seems that Toho doesn't want Godzilla vs. Megalon on DVD or Blu-Ray! They haven't officially stated this, but it seems pretty obvious to me. 97.124.245.21 (talk) 17:20, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why no article? edit

Why doesn't Megalon have his own article anymore? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.13.140.179 (talk) 21:59, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia probably removed it for not being wikified.MilkStraw532 (talk) 23:48, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cornershop edit

A sample of dialog from the film was used in the intro of "England's Dreaming" from the album Hold on It Hurts by Cornershop "People...We finally have to fight, we don't want to, but the people of Earth leave us no choice."Tigerboy1966 (talk) 23:44, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Godzilla vs Megalon Blu-ray Information is Misleading, Inaccurate and Completely False edit

I just love how inaccurate and misleading these entries can get. Under the section that details the DVD/Blu-ray release for Godzilla vs Megalon, the entry states that there were issues with the dubbing that have led to the Blu-ray delays. Doesn't anyone ever verify their facts anymore. Several sites have detailed the hold-up on the Blu-ray release and it has absolutely nothing to do with the English dub track.

Monster Zero.us (monsterzero.us), Toho Kindgom (tohokingdom.com), Henshin Online (henshinonline.com) and even Blu-ray.com have all stated that the problem the Blu-ray has been delayed has nothing to do with the English dub but involves the bonus features (the clearing of the rights to some interviews that were added to the disk). Toho Productions has yet to approve Godzilla vs Megalon because they haven't reviewed the disk yet and that they expressed some concern over the contents of the bonus features. It has more to do with quality control then it has to do with the actual content of the disk.

I wish people would get their facts straight. Because it's giving Wikipedia a bad reputation among kaiju fans.98.209.246.195 (talk) 21:04, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Here's a novel suggestion: if you don't like the article content try improving it with reference to reliable sources. Tigerboy1966  22:49, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Contradictory statements in article edit

The last paragraph in "English Versions" seemingly contradicts the beginning paragraph in "Release" / "Home Video" in regards to whether or not the film fell into the public domain in the United States. Clarification is definitely needed. 64.9.249.65 (talk) 05:45, 20 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

But why WAS Jet Jaguar merged? edit

Jet Jaguar has a well-fed history of shows and films, and different forms; there's Jet Jaguar 1973, Jet Jaguar in Godzilla Island as Medical Jet Jaguar and Fiefighter Jet Jaguar, there's Jet Jaguar's different stages of production all the way through Godzilla Singular Point as the main character once again. Same as Megalon, but on a bigger scale. Anyway, you can't just ignore all of that contains them, we are missing out on so much information on kaiju on this site, and it's really not needed. Jet Jaguar is barely mentioned through this page, yet he handled the main giant monster role in the film itself. 86.23.147.215 (talk) 16:19, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
