Confusing counter-statements edit

I can't make head nor tail of this. It certainly doesn't belong in the biography as is, so I'll put it here for sharper minds to assess:

He has claimed that Sir Keith Joseph was on the interview panel and, unimpressed by his inability to tell wheat and barley apart, advised him to return to Trinidad and grow bananas.[1][2] However, Joseph was not at any time connected with the Ministry of Agriculture and there is no independent evidence that Joseph was ever a member of a panel at Nottingham University (Note: Palmer had said Reading University, The Spectator letters, 10/10/2015, see Life Scientific reference.); it has been suggested without evidence that Palmer may have mistaken him for someone else.[3] However, it should be noted that evidence in support of what Professor Sir Geoff Palmer said on The Life Scientific, BBC Radio 4 programme, was deleted. The Glasgow Herald newspaper reported (14/11/2015) that Charles Moore, who is associated with the Nottingham mis-statement for which no valid evidence (See BBC below and Palmer, Spectator) has been presented, said that a complaint was made to the BBC by the CPS (Centre for Policy Studies). Therefore, it should also be noted that the BBC rejected permanently a complaint against Professor Sir Geoff Palmer (See Editorial Standards Findings: Appeals to the Trust and other editorial issues considered by the Editorial Standards Committee December 2015-January 2016). Issued February 2016.
