"Tagame is openly gay." edit

Perhaps it's not an appropriate fact for the lead, but it still needs to be cleaned up. It's floating in dead space where it's currently located in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.110.129 (talk) 03:16, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

His sexuality is a central theme throughout his work, so it's an appropriate fact to highlight in the lede. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 11:58, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Gengoroh Tagame

5x expanded by Morgan695 (talk). Self-nominated at 04:50, 6 February 2021 (UTC).Reply

  • Will be claiming this for review and hoping to finish within the next few days, but ALT1 is probably the most attention-grabbing option so far. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:56, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Apologies for the delay! I was planning on getting to this yesterday but got caught up in some real-life matters earlier. I'll try to do the review later today, and while I do note Piotrus's comment, I will have to disagree that the water bug angle isn't interesting (in fact I honestly find ALT0 bland compared to ALT1 or ALT2). •   The 5x expansion took place on the day of the nomination and the image is freely licensed and acceptable. The only hits I found on Earwig's was the quote which is properly cited. QPQ has been performed. ALT1 and ALT2 are the best hooks: both are cited inline, ALT1 is verified in the source, ALT2 is accepted AGF from an offline source. The final choice of hook is left to the promoter. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:02, 24 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Comments: edit

  • In the second paragraph of Themes and Motifs, link the article for the word "pejorative", as I doubt most English speakers know what it means.
  • The link for source 3 doesn't appear to work, you may need to get the archive link.
  • Optional, but it may be a good idea to replace ’ with '.

That is it. Address each mandatory issue and I will promote it. Link20XX (talk) 02:32, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Link20XX: Both mandatory issues have been resolved. Morgan695 (talk) 03:16, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Morgan695: The changes resolved both issues. The result of this review is Pass. Congratulations! Link20XX (talk) 03:39, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
