I made improvements to the article bringing up to wikipedia standards. I've added references and fixed the numerous copyright infringements by re-writing most of the article in my own words and putting quotations in where there was no substitute. As for notability issues, the previous article didn’t make the district seem notable but after reviewing the information, the district was a key part of the culture and music of the 1960s. User:Quartermaster has added the following comment to my talk page which I copy and post here:

I'm scratching my head as to why you tagged the entry for Gaslight Square, St. Louis as having OR problems. Given that it has 10 citations for what is a relatively short article, I'm puzzled. Also, no rationale or examples of what you find problematic are listed on the talk page.

Well the page contains a couple of passages which are arguably problematic, such as:

Brothers Dick and Paul Mutrux are considered by many to be the pioneers of Gaslight Square ... Jay Landesman relocated his extremely popular cabaret theatre, the Crystal Palace [to the area, (my emphasis)]

and:

These resourceful decorations gave Gaslight Square a youthful, eclectic feel that attracted young beatniks and wealthy customers alike. ... These businesses provided an array of unique entertainment that combined elements of the past and present.
