Galloping Gerties edit
- The users named them "Galloping Gerties" because of their movement when in use. They used pads under them to cushion the motion.
I removed this line from [1] - cited in File:Human_computers_-_Dryden.jpg. It's just trivia. Maybe someone can track down a source and include it in this article. -- Sy / (talk) 21:18, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Friden pocket calculator. edit
The statement about the inability to produce a pocket calculator is questionable. The 1234 was produced in 1973 and was a very small pocket calculator. The company failed due to quality control issues, not lack of competitive product. Sarafinadh (talk) 21:35, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
