Hi there. Just to let you know, apropos of this edit, that we don't usually remove or edit other people's text on Talk pages (unless archiving or otherwise allowed restructuring) as it tends to confuse other readers and runs the risk of annoying the author. I can see, believe me, how you would want to, but it's just not what we do! There's mention of it in places such as WP:EQ (section 2), WP:TPG (section 1.6.1) and no doubt others ... one could grow old looking through this stuff so I hope you will not mind my quick pointer, which is offered absolutely in the spirit of co-operation and in the hope of helping, not annoying! :) Thanks and best wishes 138.37.199.206 (talk) 13:35, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

February 2021

Hi BBCLCD! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Bahamian dollar that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. This includes Adding or removing references / citations. Considerations for Cristiano Amon Page

Hi BBCLCD. My name is Clare Conley and I work for Qualcomm. I was working on a draft page about CEO Cristiano Amon to submit to Articles for Creation, when you beat me to it and created the page. I did my best to merge our two drafts into an expanded version here and I was hoping you might take a look at my proposed version. Since I am affiliated with the subject of the article, WP:COI requires that I propose the draft to an impartial editor like you for consideration, in order to make sure I am not adding promotion or bias content.

Thank you for adding information to the article about Amon I created initially. I am not able to verify some of the references you gave, as I don't have access to some of them.

The part "Personal Life" mentions his hobbies. I would delete this part, as hobbies are normally not mentioned on WP. However, it would be interesting to know, whether Amon is married and has children.

It is preferrable to change/add to the existing text rather than replacing it entirely. In particular, maintain the categories already published.

I wonder whether all the "Notes" are needed.

Thanks @BBCLCD:. I've revised the draft to trim Amon's hobbies, add his family, and remove the Notes section per your feedback. I agree regarding preserving the Categories, but didn't want to put the draft page itself into those categories by adding them to the draft page.

I think that we cannot simply replace my text by yours, as it would run under the same title Cristiano Amon. It would be compulsory to include the View history section of my old entry.
