Merger into Wachovia Corporation

This article is not developed enough and doesn't contain enough differentiation/information to warrant a separate page from Wachovia Corporation. Most of the information in this First Union Article is already in the Wachovia article.Wikipedianinthehouse (talk) 00:35, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

• Completely disagree. This was one of the largest banks in the US with a ~100 year history. Now wachovia is acquired by Wells Fargo should both articles be removed and made into parts of that article? This is not some small stub it is a sizeable, referenced article. The image File:Corestates.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here.
