'Abolish the Buddha. Destroy Sakyamuni' edit

This language is taken directly from the Japanese, and perhaps describes the policy more clearly than does the history section at Shinto#State Shinto. The Japanese name for the policy is 廃仏毀釈. The article in the Japanese Wikipedia is 廃仏毀釈 In that article it says that 廃仏毀 is used generally, to refer to the destruction and the like of Buddhist facilities which were pulled down by the new government which was formed after the Meiji restoration. Tourism Attractions edit

On 10 Feb. 2007, IP User:203.155.245.1 added a section on Tourism Attractions that consisted entirely of redink. It seems that these four items should be dealt within this article, since they ought not to be long. (1) Enoshima Shrine, (2) Enoshima Tropical Botanical Garden (which is already mentioned), (3) Enoshima Lighthouse, and (4) Enoshima Iwaya Cave. --Bejnar 22:48, 12 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
