Rewriting, expanding edit

This article on a major American artist could use better organization and more substance regarding Ed Clark’s life, career and work. I will write a near-complete overhaul, drawing from numerous sources, but chiefly the NY Times and ARTnews obituaries, and the Clark oral history interview published in 2014. I’ll retain the points already raised and their sourcing, as well as the lengthy (perhaps too lengthy, but I’ll leave it be) list of solo exhibitions, updating with one or two. I’ll also expand the museum collections a bit. The “Books” and “External Links’’ sections could use additions, but I won’t attempt that now. (FYI, books are usually grouped under a "Further Reading" headline, because periodical articles etc. can be placed there.) Thanks. Charles J. Hanley (talk) 20:30, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
