I'm not finding much. This piece is obviously supplied by the zoo ("Come join the Zoo for our annual..."). This is tangentially about the zoo and says precious little about the zoo. A brief mention (under "Other anniversaries") is hardly compelling. An isolated mention is no help. As always, a local listing of events hardly makes for an encyclopedia article.

To be honest this site is very disappointing. Refer to other sites like Bronx Zoo. Covers each section of the grounds and wants people to come see it. We need to show some Missouri pride and talk about our Zoo. I wish I lived closer. The people that run it both animal wise and conservation needs to add to this.
