Following patterns established for other (albeit pro) teams, the page should be consolidated under New Orleans Zephyrs with redirects from the Denver Bears and the Denver Zephyrs. Pattern appears to be that the current name of the team has a page housing content referencing team history and is redirected to from any searches with previous team names. See St Louis Rams (formerly Los Angeles Rams), Oakland Raiders (formerly Los Angeles Raiders) and Los Angeles Dodgers (formerly Brooklyn Dodgers) for examples.

I would have to agree, both the Denver Bears and Denver Zephyrs articles should be merged into the New Orleans Zephyrs article, since they are the same team, just with name and location changes. Blarney Fife 21:01, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

More recent precedent in WP:Baseball is to have new articles when a team relocates. Other then the move of a franchise from one city to another, the teams have no connection to one another. New Orleans doesn't recognize their Denver or Kansas City heritage. Thusly, the Denver Bears/Zephyrs should have an article separate from the New Orleans Zephyrs/Baby Cakes. I have made such a change grouping the Denver teams here and the NO teams at New Orleans Baby Cakes. By 2020, there should be a new article when the team moves from NO to Wichita (Wichita PCL team).
