Baseball-reference.com lists his birthdate as July 13, 1928; mlb.com lists it as July 13, 1929. As of today, mlb.com has not yet noted his death. I would suggest rechecking mlb.com in a month or so to see if they have made a change on his year of birth. Other editors, please leave a note with the date if you've rechecked mlb.com and b-r.com.
