Le 9e edit

I recently attempted to find the 9eme, and it would appear that it no longer exists. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.206.33.68 (talkcontribs).

I don't believe that it is open to the public at present, but it is still there. Skeezix1000 19:43, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Article name change needed edit

I think most will agree, this article is in need of a name change. Fundamentally this is an article which gives a historical background detailing the building that sits at 677 Saint Catherine street in Montreal. It began as the Goodwin department store and that lasted nearly 25 years. Then of course it became Montreal's flagship Eaton's department, and remained so for 75 years. It is also where the landmark Eaton's 9th floor restaurant was located, and still is today. It is no longer "Complexe Les Ailes", and having lasted only 10 years under that name destination, makes it merely a tiny (almost irrelevant) footnote in the building's history. Certainly it doesn't reflect what this article is about. Of course we need to document its full history and give details about its time as Les Ailes (that must be preserved), but it just make no sense to be the article's title at this point.

Any thoughts on what the article should be titled? "Montreal Eaton's building", "Goodwin building"? Or should it just be merged with the Montreal Eaton Centre article, as it will soon be a part of it in the near future? Just wanted to get some discussion going on this before making any changes. Any thoughts? --Apple2gs (talk) 18:48, 31 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
