Lead Section edit

The second and third paragraphs of the lead section discuss topics that are not expanded upon in further sections. I think these paragraphs should be edited (or removed) for conciseness and a more clear introduction of the main topic. If not, the information brought up in these paragraphs could be further developed with additional sections in the body of the article, such as a section about the relationship between politics and communication design. --Mcooley509 (talk) 23:40, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I edited and revised these lead section paragraphs for conciseness and clarity. I removed negative terminology such as "not" and made them into "and" lists instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Addutra (talkcontribs) 00:18, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I added three scholarly sources to corroborate information in these sections. I also rearranged sentences for greater clarity and concision. Addutra (talk) 00:41, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I also made sure sentences where "media" is used, there is the proper plurality (because media can also mean plural). Addutra (talk) 00:44, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
