Spelling and Etymology edit

It would be nice to see proper tonemarks and han zi for these.

Hanzi seems to be added, but tonemarks are missing on most. There are also some wrong translations and I plan to fix that.

Poor translations. edit

I have discovered several mistranslations and poor translations in the names. As I was adding the names of the saber form, I found inconsistencies where a name could be interpreted in a multitude of ways, there seems to be some Taiji teachers who just translate the characters word for word without taking into account the whole meaning. Sometimes this ends up as word salad. Preferable, we could be needing a Chinese language native to look at the wording, preferrably someone with some Taiji experience.

In time I can look over the other forms and try to improve the wording. Alsaker (talk) 19:41, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Alsaker: Thanks for looking over the forms and trying to improve the wording; another thing you could do is look for more sources. (The article currently has no sources and one external link.) Rusty4321 talk contribs 00:06, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have some sources! Just unsure whether to cite them in the title or just link to them without notes which seems silly. Alsaker (talk) 09:58, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think it's possible to add a References section that just lists the sources used, without linking to where they are used in the text. Rusty4321 talk contribs 22:48, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
