Further to reviewing the COI guidelines, I will review all text in this post to ensure that it is a statement of fact rather than promotion of Champneys. Ptreadaway (talk) 16:36, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edits page to this page by ptreadaway are posted by Interdirect Ltd who act as the agents for Champneys online presence. This work is not being paid for or rewarded. Any edits to ensure that only facts are given are welcomed. Ptreadaway (talk) 16:38, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please note that any permission to use text must be entered into the WP:OTRS system to be valid. Also note the following. ownership of pages, and conflict of interest. Also note that role accounts are not normally permitted, it would probably be a good idea for User:Ptreadaway not to edit the article but he/she are welcome to make any valid observations on this page. Highly questionable information edit

This suggests that Champneys started in the 1970s, while they were actively going in the 1940s. This writing by PR consultants really is rather worrying and leads to a disappointing end result. - SchroCat (talk) 20:09, 19 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Charity? edit

The source for Champneys being a charity has gone. Can anyone resurrect/replace it please? Because without evidence, it seems an unlikely statement. There is a charitable foundation associated with Champneys, but the Foundation's income seems to be far too low to be operating the business, and the business website links through to Champneys Henlow Ltd which Companies House shows as being owned by the family rather than by the charity.

Many thanks
