Accent edit

The letter õ is used in Estonian, Portuguese and Vietnamese, while the letter ő is used in Hungarian. I think it's more like for an Austrian to have a name with a Hungarian letter than a name with an Estonian/Portuguese letter. (It's also possible that the õ and ő versions are both incorrect and his name contained simply ö which exists in the German language.) Exact hints are welcome. The German Wikipedia writes in its Josef Gerö article: "Josef Gerö stammte aus einer ungarisch-stämmigen Familie", i.e. he originated from a Hungarian-rooted family, so the Hungarian accent will be correct. Adam78 11:29, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Renamed Incorretly edit

This page has been renamed incorrectly. This is not an English language name and it is not the correct name of the competition. Djln --Djln 00:12, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reference edit

I'm a bit worried about the reference used in the article; its seems impossible to find. Here's what a search reveals:

Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

However, there is a Leo Schidrowitz article in the German Wikipedia, so maybe it's not completely unreliable. Asoccer maniac (talk) 18:52, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
