Fools Game / Gut Level edit

I have a 12" single with A side "Fools Game (Sluggin' fer Jesus part 3)" and B side "Gut Level" but I don't see this listed in the discography. It was released on Les Disques du Crepuscule in 1983.

I have little experience with the rules of Wikipedia editing, but I'll add the above to the main page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.5.143.45 (talk) 14:40, 15 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Chance versus Causality edit

It seems the band’s released — or re-released — a rare soundtrack album called Chance Versus Causality.

Is it worth including, somewhere? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cuddy2977 (talkcontribs) 20:53, 16 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

the revox edit

it's a minor, trivial point, but relevant to the band's working practices.... revox didn't make a four channel machine until over a decade later (the c274). folks often confuse four channel & quarter track in the context of open reel tape machines, & it may indeed have said "four track" on it if it was a quarter track deck, as that's how revox labelled them. but it's unlikely that the band would have requested what is effectively a domestic variant of the revox, for use in a studio. what is the exact citation? duncanrmi (talk) 20:05, 24 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

The Citation is from Reed's book Assimilate: "There'd been an offer from Manchester-based Factory Records too, but Rough Trade bought the trio a four-track Revox tape machine (in lieu of an advance), which was enough to win them over." (online copy) Reed isn't (to my knowledge) a producer or sound engineer, so I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere along the line that detail got compressed. I'm cool with a more general depiction of the machine in question as I am not certain we are going to get much more technical detail. -- t_kiehne (talk) 03:21, 25 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
