Template Chart edit
I think it is better to reference to an external template for the medical cases chart, instead of having the whole chart code inside the page's source code. This way it is easier to modify and it complies with what is being done for all other countries. See Italy or France for reference.Robotrandom (talk) 17:10, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
Falkland Islands featuring in the map edit
Coronavirus cases in the Falkland Islands (BOT) are independent from the ones in Argentina (there is a separate article for them, 2020 coronavirus pandemic in the Falkland Islands). They should be removed from the map in this article. In case Tierra del Fuego Province (and therefore Argentina) considers the cases in the islands as part of its own cases, they must be subtracted.--MonFrontieres (talk) 23:31, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

Splitting proposal edit
I propose that section Timeline be split into a separate page called Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in Argentina. The content is large enough to make their own page (WP:LENGTH and WP:SPINOFF) and be even extended, and a summary should be written on the main page instead. MrE (talk) 18:46, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- I think i will support this proposal. COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana has a separate page for timeline of their COVID-19 pandemic, despite not having the media coverage of Italy or China. So far, Ghana was the only country i know that has a separate page for COVID-19 timeline despite the lack of coverage. I would like to see more of that rather than leaving Ghana alone for this reason. SMB99thx Email! 08:31, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
Problems with the Statistics section edit
There seem to be problems with the statistics section. The sum of the cases in the city of Buenos Aires and the province of Buenos Aires sum to considerably more than total cases of the whole country. The report that is referenced for the numbers of the city of Buenos Aires gives as separate numbers the cases of non-residents and the cases of residents of the city. It would seem that the number of non-residents are also counted as cases of their corresponding province of residence, quite likely the province of Buenos Aires, which leads to some double counting. Taking into account only the number of resident cases for the city of Buenos Aires gives a more accurate sum. I think the data should be modified showing only the number of resident cases for the city, or at least it should be noted that the city reports this two distinct numbers, otherwise the data seems contradictory and confusing. 2800:2121:1400:361:E516:54FA:BA6F:189F (talk) 16:22, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
- I'm aware of that, but since the beginning the Ministry of Health of the City of Buenos Aires included all the data together in its reports (until 6/2 when the number was split into residents and non-residents, with the latter including duplicated cases), so the data quality issues is addressed here inside the statistics section. The City of Buenos Aires is not the only to include non-residents cases reported in its district, but other provinces do so, leading to a discrepancy in the numbers between the provinces and the national Ministry of Health. — MrE (talk) 17:35, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
